Let Me Spend That Time With You
Chasing dreams of fantasy flight,
Holding you close again once more.
Kissing you long into the night,
Whispering words, my feelings pour.

Watching you sleep in my arms,
Stroking your hair gently, not to wake.
Feeling your body ever warm,
Against mine, as dreams you take.

Your love is more than I thought could be,
Like an angel brought you to my heart.
You continue to consume all of me,
My desires, needs, thoughts with you start.

If I should be blessed to see old age,
Please let me spend that time with you.
Your love is the final chapter, not a page,
Of everything I believe to be as true.
